The GoFly Prize competition is a $2,000,000 challenge to create a personal flying device that is safe, useful, and thrilling. How amazing does that sound!
The goal of this initiative by both GoFly and Boeing is to foster the development of safe, quiet, ultra-compact, near-VTOL personal flying devices. The flying device should be able to be used by ALL: young and old, city-dweller and country-dweller, expert and novice.
With only 35 days left, the opportunity is open to everyone who has innovative and advanced ideas on propulsion, energy, lightweight materials, and control and stability systems or combined to produce a moment of achievable innovation.
